the re-purposed sweater
i've always thought that a plethora of material around your neck/ lower grill looks awesome, in high school i worked for abercrombie + fitch and i would use my hoodies as scarves + then in college, working for ralph lauren, i would take the cable-knit cashmere sweaters and do the same..
so i'm happy to see mainstream taking advantage of extra grill material like dsquared2 in their pre-fall 2011 look book + the gentleman in grey tommy ton thought to photograph..

during my tenure @ Ralph Lauren's mens flagship on Madison Ave. I had the pleasure of working with Robert Rabensteiner, (L’Uomo Vogue fashion editor) . He's quite the dapper gentleman. What I love about his style is the simplicity + masculinity he exudes. Everything he wears looks as though he's had it for years, even if he's just trying it on..
